![]() Also, I am hoping for some more Sling nerfs. The wait is over! Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is available now at the Microsoft Store on Windows 10. I am hoping we will see more buffs (Goths seems even worse now with Militia line buff) and especially nerfs: I am a bit suprised that for example there were no Maya/Frank/Longship. When it comes to nerfs: I think all nerfs are justified (Warewolf is an amazing UU), Slavs farmers were clearly broken. Spanish Missionary might be a viable unit now with those two buffs. The Saracens, Koreans buff goes into the right direction, but it's hard to say how much it will impact the civs and so does Vietnamesse, although Husbandry won't solve all Viet's problems (I certainly expected more changes to fix them). I hope they will somehow improve their UU. I like Khmer buffs as well, they really needed at least better trash. They are top 5 on Arena at least and strong on closed maps, so as long as the civ is at least above average on certain map, it's okay with me. When it comes to buffs, I don't think Teutons really need a huge buff ( and free improved Herbal Medicine probably won't change much). I like Palisade gates&tower nerf, but of course we will see how it will turn out in practice. I think those changes go into right direction. They are pointing to the right direction IMO. Most of the balance changes look good to me. Persians are an overall nice civ to play, they just lacked a little bit, to make them more competitive.įrank losing +HP in feudal age. I really like the Persian +5% working speed in Dark Age. We will see this one though, I am really curious, how it works out. I expect that feudal TCs and Siege would be quite situational, but thats completely fine. Building a TC is a huge investment, which pays off only quite a bit later. If you manage to pump out a Ram, it can soak up lot of arrow fire, but you still have to protect it from melee attack, so you will need army to defend it. Remember, the building itself is very costly for a weak feudal economy, not to mention the rams. I dont think that a Siege Workshop and Rams are that insanely overpowered in the feudal age. If it is balanced correctly, then it can make a real difference (like Bloodlines does), then it can be used as a means of balancing, and can make up for the lack of Bloodlines for some civs. Funny that it has made it now, when I am not there. I have always wanted to get through something like that while I was on the dev team. They are not the best, not the worst, but have weaknesses in certain cases, which could be helped a little bit. I am a bit disappointed seeing that Britons are still being nerfed. If you would like to be on this list, please message me the details below. Please be aware this is not a guarantee everyone will be invited, but we are trying to get as many people involved as possible. We're going forward to Microsoft with a list of people we want involved in the Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Beta. ![]() Look at where Age of Empires: II is today thanks to the huge efforts of the members of this community. ![]() We're extremely happy to see the amount of people who want to be involved in this process, and there isn't another community we think should be more involved in making this game great. Not being able to complete the questionnaire to become an Age Insider, or finishing the process to not hear a confirmation/not being involved in any of the past Beta invitation waves. We've seen that a lot of community members here have attempted to sign up for the Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Beta and ran into a couple of problems. ![]()
